FOR NO REASON

About

About For No Reason

A private members' community for adults who want to stop drifting, with daily tasks, real support and a mentor who reads every request himself. Plus a free, public journal and free tools for everyone.

What it is

For No Reason is two things. Inside, it is a closed members' club and app: a small tribe of "Seekers" who take one small task a day (for the body, the plate, the mind, money, kindness and reflection), tick it honestly, and support each other. Members are mentored by the founder, known as the Chief, and later by volunteer Guides he chooses. Outside, it is a public journal and a set of free tools on finding purpose, discipline and habits, health, loneliness and belonging, and kindness. You do not need to join to read or use them.

Why "the Chief" is anonymous

The Chief is the founder's pen name. He keeps his identity private by choice, so that the attention stays on the members and their work, not on a personality. Anonymity is not a licence to hide what matters, so we are open about everything else: how the club works, how it makes money, how the journal is written, and how to reach us.

How it makes money

Membership is by request. If the Chief accepts you, the fee is 1% of your declared monthly income, minimum US$10 a month. It is a membership fee to the founder, not a donation or charity. Members can cancel at any time, with no penalty. No one is paid for bringing in members. The journal and tools are free and carry no ads and no affiliate links. Articles do invite readers to request to join: that is our only "sales" message, and we say so here.

What it is not

For No Reason is not therapy, counselling, medical, legal, financial or religious advice, and not an emergency service. The Chief and the Guides are not doctors or therapists. If you are struggling, please see crisis help.
