Terms of membership

1. What For No Reason is

For No Reason ("the tribe", "we") is a private members' club and app at fornoreason.app, run by its founder, who appears in the app as "The Chief" (a pseudonym). It offers a community, daily tasks, mentoring by the Chief and by volunteer Guides, and a public journal. It is not therapy, counselling, medical, legal, financial or religious advice, and it is not an emergency service.

2. Adults only

You must be 18 or older. You confirm your date of birth when you apply. We close accounts that belong to anyone under 18.

3. Joining

Membership is by request. The Chief reads every request and accepts or declines it personally, without having to give a reason. You agree to give true information.

4. The membership fee

After you are accepted, you pay a membership fee to the founder: 1% of the monthly income you declare, and at least US$10 a month. It is a fee for membership, not a donation and not charity, and it is not tax-deductible. Income is self-declared (honour system). You pay monthly, or yearly if you prefer, in USDT (TRON) or USDC (Base) to the address shown on your invoice. Blockchain payments are public and cannot be reversed by us; send only from a wallet you control and check the address. If a payment is late, you keep access for 7 days; after that the app asks you to renew, and you can catch up at any time, also with a yearly payment. We never take money from you automatically.

5. Leaving is always your right

You can cancel your membership at any time in the app (Profile > Membership > Cancel). After you cancel, there are no more payments and no more reminders, and there is no penalty. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. You can also delete your account and your data at any time (Profile > Privacy > Delete my account). Fees already paid for past periods are not refunded unless the law where you live requires it.

6. Tasks

Daily tasks are suggestions. You can refuse any task, for any reason, and simply mark it "not done". Tasks are always meant to be safe and legal, and will never ask you to keep secrets from your family. Health-related tasks (food, movement, sleep) are general wellbeing ideas, not medical advice: listen to your body and ask a doctor if you are unsure. Streaks and ranks are for encouragement only; missing a task never costs you your rank.

7. Guides and the tribe tree

Guides are members chosen by the Chief to support up to 100 Seekers each. Guides are volunteers. No one earns money for bringing in members, and no money flows up the Guide tree: fees go only to the founder. Guides are not therapists. A Guide sees your public profile and your task progress; your private details only if the Chief grants it for a specific reason, and every such access is logged and visible to you. Romantic or sexual contact between a Guide and a Seeker in their care is not allowed.

8. How we behave

You agree to the Tribe Code: no hate, harassment, threats, scams, spam, sexual content involving anyone without consent, or anything illegal. Never ask members for money or crypto. You can block and report anyone; reports go to the Chief. We may remove content and mute, suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

9. Your content

You own what you post. You give us the right to show it to the members it is meant for, and, only if you choose "Share publicly", on its own public web page. You can delete your posts at any time.

10. The Chief and the founder's tools

The Chief writes to members himself. The founder may use software tools, including an AI assistant, to help draft tasks, announcements and admin work that he reviews and approves. The app has no AI chat: when you talk to the Chief, you talk to the Chief.

11. Availability and liability

We work hard to keep the app safe and online, but we provide it "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law where you live.
